Hi there, I'm DanielleHi there, I'm Danielle

Most days you can find me snuggling with my adorable dog, Abu, binging on Netflix with my husband Gustavo and trying new restaurants in Milwaukee.  I am mostly known for supporting and attending local performing arts through my full-time job at the Florentine Opera.  People often refer to me as doer – I like having a checklist and getting things done!  I am most passionate about traveling the world with my awesome husband (preferably on a cruise ship!), and seeing live theatre.

I photograph beauty, emotion and drama - after all, I work in the theatre every day! I serve people who desire a photojournalistic and polished look to their photographs, or who want something cinematic captured on film.

As a resident photographer and videographer for the Florentine Opera, my work has been seen on local TV (WISN12, WTMJ4, CBS58), featured on the front page of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and articles in the Shepherd Express, Urban Milwaukee, OnMilwaukee and Wisconsin Gazette.

In my spare time, you can catch me reading a good book, playing video games, singing in choir, and exploring the great city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, my husband Gustavo rocks my world!  He’s a choir teacher for a group of wickedly talented high school students.  We started dating April 2007 while we were still in high school - yes we were high school sweethearts! We attended the same college at UW-Whitewater and one of the highlights of our college days was going on an eleven-day cross-country trip across Germany with our college choir.  We’ve been bit by the travel bug ever since!

Soon after my own wedding in August 2011 I started taking photography clients, mostly friends who were getting married.  Things sort of snowballed for a while until I took a short break between 2015-2016 when I moved from Whitewater to Milwaukee and adjusted to my new job at the Florentine Opera.  Now, I’m ready to jump back into photography and schedule weddings & seniors for 2017!

Still here? You’re a trooper! Let’s connect!
